pushplay app policies
Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 25, 2026
1. Who this policy applies to
This Privacy Policy applies to websites, mobile apps, prototypes, support pages, and related services published by Pushplay. If a specific app has its own privacy notice, that app-specific notice controls for that app.
2. The short version
- Pushplay does not sell personal information.
- Pushplay does not build apps around advertising profiles or cross-app tracking.
- Pushplay tries not to collect sensitive personal information, health information, financial information, government IDs, or anything that would create unnecessary risk.
- Some apps may use analytics, crash reporting, cloud data, authentication, or app store services. When they do, the goal is app functionality, security, support, and improvement.
- If you email Pushplay for support, that email and anything you include in it may be kept long enough to respond and maintain support records.
3. Information Pushplay may receive
Depending on the app or service, Pushplay may receive:
- Support information: your email address, message text, screenshots, logs, device details, and any other information you choose to send.
- App diagnostics: crash reports, performance information, operating system version, app version, device model, and similar technical details.
- Analytics: basic usage information such as screens viewed, feature use, session counts, approximate region, and app events. Analytics are used to understand whether an app is working and where it can be improved.
- Cloud or database content: some apps may use services such as Firebase or Firestore to save app state, sync data, authenticate users, or support app features.
- App Store information: Apple or another platform may process purchase, subscription, refund, download, and account information. Pushplay generally receives limited platform reporting rather than full payment details.
4. Sensitive data and regulated information
Pushplay apps are not intended to collect protected health information, medical records, financial account numbers, government identifiers, or other sensitive regulated data unless a specific app clearly says so and has appropriate safeguards. Do not send sensitive information through support email unless it is necessary for your request.
5. How information is used
Information may be used to:
- operate, maintain, and improve apps and websites;
- provide support and respond to questions;
- debug crashes, performance issues, and compatibility problems;
- protect apps, users, and systems from abuse or misuse;
- understand which features are useful; and
- comply with platform, legal, tax, or security obligations.
6. Third-party services
Pushplay apps and websites may use third-party services such as Apple, GitHub, Medium, Firebase, Google Analytics for Firebase, Crashlytics, hosting providers, email providers, or similar tools. These services may process data under their own privacy policies and security practices.
7. Data sharing
Pushplay does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when needed to operate the app or service, work with vendors, comply with law, prevent abuse, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transfer such as a sale or reorganization.
8. Data retention
Pushplay keeps information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, unless a longer period is required for legal, tax, security, platform, or backup reasons. Support emails may be retained for support history. Crash and analytics data may be retained according to the settings and retention periods of the service that processes it.
9. Your choices
- You can avoid sending support email or limit what you include in support messages.
- You can use device settings to manage permissions such as notifications, Bluetooth, location, camera, or local network access when an app requests them.
- You can uninstall an app to stop future app activity from that device.
- You can contact Pushplay to request access, correction, or deletion of information that Pushplay directly controls.
10. Children
Pushplay apps and websites are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Pushplay, contact jeffrey@pushplay.net and reasonable steps will be taken to delete it.
11. Security
Pushplay uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet, cloud, email, or app store system is perfectly secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
12. App-specific notes
Some apps may have data behavior that is different from this general policy. When needed, Pushplay will add app-specific notes here or provide a separate privacy notice. App Store privacy details should also match the actual data collected by the app and any third-party SDKs included in the app.
13. Changes
This policy may be updated as apps, services, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are made.
14. Contact
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to jeffrey@pushplay.net.
